Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Angora ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Angora Partner App, a proprietary application used exclusively by Angora's investment partners to monitor and manage their Amazon businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, share, and delete data in connection with the Partner App and our use of Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API), and reflects our compliance with Amazon's Data Protection Policy (DPP) and Solution Provider Agreement.

2. Data We Collect

Through the SP-API and our internal systems, we collect the following categories of data on behalf of, and with authorization from, each managed Amazon seller account:

  • Inventory and fulfillment data (stock levels, fulfillment channel status)
  • Order and transaction data (order IDs, delivery confirmations, financial events)
  • Marketing and advertising performance data (campaign reports, Brand Analytics data, promotion performance)
  • Listing and catalog data (product attributes, pricing, listing status)
  • Account health and compliance data (performance metrics, policy notifications)
  • Settlement and financial reports (earnings, fee breakdowns, adjustments)
  • Amazon Business B2B opportunity reports
  • Contact information provided through this website (name, email address, message)

We do not request or process roles that provide access to Amazon customer Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

3. How We Use Data

Data collected through SP-API is used exclusively to perform authorized activities on behalf of each seller account that has granted access:

  • Providing inventory monitoring and automated partner notifications
  • Generating financial summaries and earnings reports for the authorizing account's partner
  • Supporting listing creation, updates, and catalog management
  • Executing compliant buyer-seller messaging on behalf of sellers
  • Monitoring account health and marketplace participation status
  • Informing pricing decisions and competitive analysis for the authorizing account
  • Identifying B2B product opportunities for eligible partners

Advertising and marketing campaign data — including campaign performance reports, Brand Analytics search term data, and promotion performance data — is retrieved and used to manage, monitor, and optimize advertising activity on behalf of each authorizing seller account. This is a core feature of the Partner App and an authorized use of SP-API data.

We do not use SP-API data to target Amazon customers through external (non-Amazon) marketing channels, nor do we use it to fabricate, inflate, or otherwise manipulate product reviews or seller feedback.

We do not aggregate advertising or marketing data across multiple seller accounts to sell, share, or provide insights to any third party, and we do not use such data for Angora's own commercial purposes beyond operating the Partner App. We do not promote or publish insights about Amazon's business derived from SP-API data.

4. Data Storage, Attribution, and Security

Amazon-sourced data is stored in Supabase, a secured cloud database, in a dedicated database separate from other data sources — or tagged and identified by origin — in accordance with Amazon's data attribution requirements. We implement industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, strict access controls, and regular security reviews.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent data to third parties. We do not disclose SP-API data — whether individually labeled or aggregated — to outside parties, affiliated entities, or other application users except as strictly required to perform authorized activities on behalf of the seller account that granted access.

Where data must be shared with service providers (such as Supabase for storage), we perform due diligence on their security measures and only share data with parties whose standards are at least as strict as our own. These providers are bound by contractual data protection obligations and may not use data for their own purposes.

We do not share data with competing authorized users or use one seller's data to benefit another. We may disclose data if required by a valid legal process.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain seller data only as long as necessary to perform authorized activities or meet legal requirements. Upon termination of a partnership agreement, or upon Amazon's request, we permanently and securely delete all data within 30 days, in accordance with industry-standard sanitization processes (NIST 800-88). All live (online or network-accessible) instances of data are deleted within 90 days of Amazon's deletion notice. Non-PII data is deleted within 18 months unless longer retention is required by applicable law or regulation.

If requested by Amazon, Angora will certify in writing that all data has been securely destroyed. To request deletion of your data, contact us at info@joinangora.com.

7. Amazon Data Protection Policy Compliance

Our use of SP-API data complies with Amazon's Data Protection Policy and Solution Provider Agreement. We access only the data necessary for the functions described in this policy, do not use Amazon data for advertising, resale, or cross-account aggregation, and maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect all data we access.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact info@joinangora.com.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active partners. Continued use of the Partner App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
